Hi, I'm Emma! I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) serving New Haven County and nearby areas. I have been working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds since 2012. I offer customized private in-home training and a unique Board and Train program. Puppy Programs, Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, and Behavior Modification are my focus. Emma has been great! I couldnt be happier with how well Gunner is doing. I felt like I had tried everything in regards to his regression with potty training, Emma took the time to really listen, understand and customize a training program for us. Gunner has been doing great with no accidents and learning impulse control. She types up notes on what you did at each session and gives you what you should work on in between each session. She is extremely professional, organized, and attentive to the dogs while training. Emma is also very accessible and will answer any questions via email/text in between sessions. I would definitely recommend her for your training needs and her prices are extremely fair!

I contacted Emma in early December 2020, when I was searching for a dog to rescue for my family. Emma met with us before we even found the right dog, and even helped guide us based on our familys needs. Since Sprocket arrived to us in January, Emma has been working on obedience training, house breaking, crate training, socialization, and answering the multitude of questions Im constantly sending her way! Since this was my first time as a dog parent, I had no idea where to begin. Sprocket is now almost six months old and hes doing SO WELL. I have Emma to thank for that! She not only provided excellent training during the one-on-one training sessions, but she was so patient teaching my husband, our two children, and me regarding how to raise a new puppy. We had some issues with food, and Emma has offered guidance there as well. We love Emma so much, weve recommended her to two other families with new dogs. She is well worth it!

Emma has been working with our 7 month old Goldador puppy Rylee for 5 weeks and everyone has noticed the changes. Rylee has mastered basic commands(Still a little work on leash walking) and we are now working on interaction with other dog/people. We appreciate the personal attention and the written follow-ups after each lesson and Emma lets our older dog Haylee get involved so she doesnt feel left out of the training . Emma takes the time to explain to us and the dog what she is doing and it really works. We our looking forward to our next session when we get to interact with her dogs and start the interaction process. We give Emma 5 stars - Super knowledgeable and getting what we want done!!!

So glad I found Emma to work with our puppy! She did a great job with Lenny, always so positive. I really appreciated the personal attention and the written follow-ups after each lesson. We did the puppy program starting at 8 weeks, and then had Emma come back for a few booster lessons when he was 6 months old. Great training! Thank you Emma!
