Ken was great from the start. He was knowledgeable, considerate of my priorities, and worked within my budget. He was professional, courteous, and very easy to speak with. At the initial meeting, he spent some time taking a look at my current setup, made some recommendations on the spot, and then sent me a detailed quote within a few days.
The job I hired Ken for was to setup a TV wall with seven screens. Initially, I had just hoped for a professional to mount the screens so that they looked sharp and professional (which he did) but he also had some really cool ideas about how to setup a special remote that could control all seven screens and the sound bar. He was able to do all of this within my budget and in ways that made the setup even more exciting and user-friendly than I had initially anticipated.
The entire job was done professionally and on time. Ken really knows what he's doing with this kind of work. He pays attention to detail and makes sure that the work not only looks good but works properly. Even after the job was finished he returned to my house a few times to help me troubleshoot some of the technology (my own mistakes) and teach me how to properly use the equipment.
The bottom line: I will be hiring Ken for all of my AV needs going forward.

Ken has delivered on his promise to redo our audio system, which was half a century old. It includes speakers in our living room, kitchen, bedroom, deck and patio. Not a small job and we had no clue on how or what to do. Ken was of excellent advise, quick to respond and very professional. We are delighted with the result. Ken even volunteered to spend a lot of time setting up my new tv/video system connection, even though this was not part of our agreement. We particularly appreciated his very friendly personality.

Ken was great! Saved the day with his quick response and expertise. He installed our new TV when the Big Box boys couldn’t figure it out and fixed our audio issues in time for the playoffs!

Straight-forward, timely and communicative.
Ken was able to explain the problems in my system thoroughly and recommend a few different options for repair. Not only did he come on short notice, he helped me make notes for future reference so I can be more self sufficient in the future.
Would definitely call him for future projects- highly recommend!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't say it's complicated. I write detailed quotes showing EVERYTHING. There are no hidden costs. I am always willing to go over the quote in detail with the client, whether it's face to face or over the phone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do attend continuing education courses as the State of Connecticut requires it. I also subscribe to major trade publications like CePro. In addition, I also attend a few webinar trainings per year.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A client of mine complained about the Wi-Fi coverage in his 8000 sq. ft. home. He had a few different "network" companies come out to extend the coverage. When I arrived, I found 8 different networks in the house due to various branded extenders. We came up with a plan and by the time I was finished, it was one unified network, with coverage not only in, but outside the house as well. Download speeds tripled. I don't consider myself a network expert. I know the basics. It's a shame he paid so called "experts" to solve his problem, but he was more than thrilled in the end.
