Mike and his assistant fixed the gaps in my vinyl flooring (and replaced a cracked tile), installed new track lighting in my living room and fixed my ceiling fan. I was missing a part I needed for the track lighting and without hesitation, he sent his assistant out to get me the part I needed. I really appreciated that. I am very pleased with the work they did for me; they were professional, accommodating and I would definitely use them again!

Michael did an amazing job fixing up various projects around our house. He was very fair in his estimate and even finished all the jobs quicker than anticipated. I definitely hope to use his services again in the near future. I've used other contractors in the past but none match his level of detail and responsiveness.

Mike has been hired for numerous jobs over several years. He completely renovated two bathrooms and our kitchen before moving into a new home for our family, while our house was on the market our washer machine hose let go and damaged our first and second floor of our colonial, Mike came through and calmed us down and went step by step how everything would be fixed and really took the pressure and stress off of us. He turned the house over to us in less than 30 days. My insurance adjuster was shocked due to the extent of work that needed to be done and praised how great the house looked when it was completed during his final walk through. Mike does odd jobs for us along the way and this week just finished renovating our basement in our new house.
Mike is very knowledgeable and professional. His work is always completed on time and budget but also the number of compliments regarding the quality and workmanship of our renovations definitely makes Goodman Building Company our first and last stop with all home projects and renovations.

I am usually a tough guy to please, but I have no complaints.
We had a bedroom door widened and french doors put in in its place. Mike was flexible and fast in terms of his ability to come by the house, take a look at everything, and write up an estimate. We decided to hire him as he was personable, thorough, professional, and affordable.
He was able to start the job very soon and completed everything quickly, working while we were at work so there was no stress of construction. Each day when he left, he left the work area spotless and hazard free. I never saw one piece of dust or debris left behind by him.
The final product exceeded our expectations. Mike took the care to match the trim work on the inside of the room with the trim on the other doors and windows in that room and the trim work on the outside to match that room. We did not ask him to take this extra step but he did it because he knew it would look better, and it does. He also installed a solid wood threshold/transition between the rooms (one is hardwood and the other carpeted) because the existing hardwood in the transition was a little messed up. Again, we didn't ask him to do this, but it made the final product look so much better. With all of the extras, Mike still remained at his quoted price when the job was done. No hidden or added costs, no hastle.
We will be hiring Goodman Building Company again for all of our needed carpentry jobs.
