- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've worked in design and decorating in different ways over the past 18 years. I've worked with general contractors on custom home building, complete home renovations, and have helped homeowners to decorate and stage rental properties as well as real estate. Home staging is a great way for me to do what I enjoy.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding a stager who understands details including proportion, layout, color, and lighting (to name a few) as well as what buyers are looking for in today's market is important. Decide on your budget and go from there. Done properly, a small change can make a big difference.
