- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are low to mid range and I have to up charge for traveling to Boston due to turnpike fees and parking charges Which is not added Thumbtack system.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You contact me through Thumbtack I take your appointment get your address. You set a date and time approximate my business is traveling to groom from home to home so I do not have an exact time. I make sure each and every dog is taking care of properly and try not to rush in and do incomplete work. Also, this is my job. This pays my bills this and once booked in my appointment schedule, it takes up a space in my day along with other people trying to book be considerate and give us plenty of time for a cancellation, which is usually 48 to 72 hours in advance. If canceled in enough time that I can rebook someone in your spot, there is no charge if I’m unable to rebook the appointment there is a $25 fee if I am on my way or at your house and you’re not there or have not canceled prior to The service on the day of the service, it is a $35 charge because I have used gas and my time to travel to the appointment. I hope this is understandable. This is my work. As of July 1, 2025, I will be taking a holding deposit of $25 to hold the appointment if you are unable to keep the appointment the money is not refunded
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
5 years apprenticeship under a professional groomer. Taking single grooming classes to add to my skills.
