FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional in the healthcare field specifically working full time in hospital labs as a Physician’s Assistant my entire adult life. I have lived in many spaces throughout my young adult hood and have always loved unpacking and settling up my new home. In my later adulthood in a weird twist I have found the love of doing my style of organizing for friends, family and my workplaces. I have managed large scale renovation project within lab space all while trying to keep the work flow uninterrupted. I am also a life long learner who picks up on things quickly especially when I am passionate about the subject matter! Home organizing is always a target or home goods run away and YouTube and other social media platforms offer great spot to find inspiration. I do plan on pursuing more formal licensing or education opportunities in organizing subjects in the future as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this work from basically a place of burnout. Burnout from working full time my entire adult life in healthcare. My previous professional work environment really helps me prioritize tasks and understand the needs of a tidy helpful space/work environment. I really found a spark and a passion for working with people in their homes or on their projects and I’m so happy for each opportunity to learn more about space management, style and people!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have a good idea of how you manage your stuff and what you want to change…. If you want to change. I’m happy to work with anyone who is looking for that Tidy Touch! Be willing to think a little outside the box and become a part of the strategizing. You know what you have hiding in closets! I and other organizers offer an objective eye and lack of attachment to your things. Having an organizer like myself that truly pays attention to your spaces needs and your attachment and management styles.
