We’re still working on the problem but everything is going smoothly. My computer is very old so getting it working again is presenting a real challenge. Uh. You could have called me. Yours and another stick were lost. There’s a shortage of people at the USPS. You may have heard. You people are amazing. Can’t pick up a phone or send an email.
If I were still running my own business and my computer crashed I would call Matt and instantly be assured that he'd have me up and running. But Matt helped me instead with a very small time job - getting my home computer up to date after my putting off doing any upgrades for six years. His patience and skill were outstanding and he went out of his way to pick up the backup hard drive I needed and bring it to my house. Matt is absolutely amazing. Because I was a college student, he gave me a reduced price for the phone call which I really needed at the time, he really accommodated me. He was absolutely wonderful in helping me with my issues and actually set me up with extra few take-aways, just because. I appreciate his responsiveness and he was with me to the end to tackle my computer problems. Very patient guy with a great personality. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?It's fair and I get great discounts on parts which I pass along. Tipping is always allowed (kidding).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always like to get a feel for the level of comfort with technology that each customer has. I take notes about the configuration of the computer and I get a general feel for the way the customer likes to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started working on computers when hard drives (and disk drives) hadn't even been invented yet, so all of my knowledge comes from my work.
