I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the prestigious New York School of Interior Design, located in New York, New York. I have been trained by the best leaders in the architecture and interior design industry, through my education, and experience working for some of the most elite architectural firms, interior design firms, custom builders, and retailers in the Tri-State Area. My projects range from coastal and rural high-end residential estates to urban residential penthouses and studios. I provide space planning, floor plan and elevation drawings, 3-D renderings and have accounts with all major showrooms in and around NYC. Punctual, Polite, Patient, and Professional! I highly recommend Jenn for anyone looking for a highly trained, skilled and educated interiordesigner. My wife and I hired Jenn to work on the many rooms in our 5,000s.f. home. Being in finance, and working long hours, neither one of us had a clue on how to tackle the daunting project. From the minute we met with Jenn, she educated us on the whole process of interiordesign, including helping us understand the different historical styles, and explaining which one would stay true to our Shingle Style custom coastal home. Through our meetings with Jenn, we understood her cohesive vision. What was even better, was that she took that vision and executed it, working very long hours, and going above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied. Jenn was very accommodating, flexible and attentive with us. From the design and sourcing to the procurement and budget, Jenn was our steward, always having our best interests at heart.

I’m thrilled to rate Jenn with a justified 5-star rating! Jenn is a highly educated, well versed, competent, proficient, and practical interiordesigner. Within the first few moments of speaking with her on the phone, I knew right away she was the right interiordesigner for the job. Her enthusiasm and passion for all things architectural is unmatched, and she kept the momentum from start to finish. She has an unwavering diligence, and is extremely resourceful. My husband and I are both investment bankers, and work very long hours. We did not even know where to start with our weekend home renovation in East Hampton, NY. Not only did Jenn effectively explain the interiordesign process, Jenn really took the time to educate us in art, architecture and interiordesign. Jenn went way above and beyond to accommodate our busy schedules, in helping to make our dream home come to fruition. She was patient and steadfast with us throughout the whole renovation. Jenn was exactly what I’d hoped for when looking for an InteriorDesigner! She produced a design based upon my preferences for style, color, texture, etc. She never tried to push her personal style, but simply explained to me in layman’s terms why a piece of furniture, rug, artwork, etc. or overall room design would work or not. Jenn kept the budget in line, kept me abreast of any expenditures so nothing came as a surprise, and kept me informed of the progress of my renovation throughout construction. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As an interior designer, I have far more resources and trade accounts that the general public does not have access to. This alone, saves the client time and money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Interviewing my client and asking them what their needs, desires, ideas, styles, approaches, priorities and budgets are.
Understanding my client's lifestyle, and how my client lives and moves in a space.
Once these steps are complete, a Scope of Work and Contract is generated, and must be signed to move forward with the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated Magna Cum Laude of the prestigious and accredited New York School of Interior Design in New York City. I also have a BA in Art History and Studio Arts from Fairfield University, where I exhibited my artwork at the Lukacs Gallery, worked on the legendary Metropolitan Museum of Art's Historic Cast Collection, and was an Academic All-American.
Trained and worked with today's top elite contempories in terms of architectural firms, interior design firms and custom builders, before I started my own practice.
