Had a great experience with Paulo Masonry. He came out to meet me and provide a quotation within 12 hours of submitting a request on Thumbtack, and I found his quote to be very fair based on my research. He was on-site with his crew within 48 hours and worked very full days to take on a significant project involving (1) removal of brick driveway, (2) installation of belgian block driveway, (3) installation of belgian block landscaping borders and soil, (4) installation of bluestone pavers, (5) installation of paver stepping stones, etc. Quality of installation was excellent, on time, good value, good communication - no hesitation in recommending.

I can't say enough great things about Paulo (and his team) but I'll give it a shot. I needed to get my deck and walkway in the backyard done. He is very professional to begin with. He responded the same day I reached out to schedule for the next day and within 24 hours, thoroughly understood my requirement and gave me a quote that was most reasonable among those who assessed the job. He is very experienced, having decades of it, which reflected in his work. From the get go, he had a creative vision about the project. He challenged some of my initially held ideas and proposed his (with pictures) which were far better than mine. He skillfully finished the job in a way that was beyond my expectation. He also stood by the initial proposed budget. As a person he is extremely hardworking, kind and humble. All my interactions with him were only positive. I have recommended him to few already and would definitely hire him again for the next job that's coming shortly.
