What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard rate for the first hour is $70, whether it takes the full hour or not. After that its $60/hr, billed by 15 min increments. Most jobs can be completed within 1 hr. If I determine it will take longer than 1 hour I will let you know before starting work.
Printer setup and repair has a flat $25 non-refundable assessment fee, this is because printers are more likely than other hardware to cost more to fix than replace. The fee will be taken off the cost of repair if you choose to repair.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I reach out and discuss the issues with the customer to better understand their problems and make the most efficient use of time once I come to the customers location. I’ll also ensure that expectations for the outcome are clear, reasonable, and transparent.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in engineering and took a few computer programing classes as part of that. I have been repairing and building computers for over 12 years.
