I contacted Q Life for home yoga practice to work on strengthening physically through my practice in a safe way with the limitations of three spinal surgeries. She has been great. Always on time, always prepared but willing to adjust practice to meet my needs in the moment. Wonderful manual adjustments. I already feel much stronger and have gained new edges. Mihaela is an absolutely amazing yoga instructor and a lovely person! Not only is she knowledgeable, experienced and thorough, she is flexible, patient, friendly and a joy to be around after a tiring day at work. I look forward to my personal yoga lessons twice a week. She makes each session suitable to my needs and I love how she is always asking me to ‘listen to my body’. Through her guidance I have learnt not to force myself into postures but connect with a calm breath. I started to believe that yoga is not just about practicing poses but is a change in lifestyle, it’s about our everyday lives, our current and future well being and the ‘something’ we do for ourselves! Mihaela is an incredible trainer. She is working with both myself and my husband with yoga. We have been working with her for 2 months. I am also doing Barre with her. Michaela is by far the most attentive, encouraging and knowledgeable yoga and barre instructor I have experienced. Her ability to guide me to push myself beyond what I thought I was capable while, at the same time, modifying movements and poses that would have otherwise exacerbated existing pain, make her a unique instructor. Mihaela shows excellent mastery at her Yoga and is able to teach and modify the yoga asana for each student based on their ability. She finds unique ways to motivate the class to keep their focus on the flow. I recommend her Yoga and Barre classes which she teaches with equal enthusiasm and Elan. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$80 is the base price for 1 on 1 training but the rate could be lower or higher depending on multiple factors such as distance to your home, additional people to our sessions, time of the session, etc. Remember that your health is the best investment you can ever make!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. 20- 30 min. phone call to get to know each other 2. commit to 10 minimum sessions , 2-3 times x week 3. start our first session the following week of our phone call Payment is due in full at the beginning of our first session. I DO NOT work with couple of sessions. It's not effective in my experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a 300 Hour Certified Baptiste Leader & 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher. RYT I am Barre certified and I also hold a fitness certification from Aerobics & Fitness Association of America. AFAA I have been teaching Yoga, Pilates, Barre and other fitness classes since 2010.
