When I need work done (plumbing, electrics, landscaping, etc.) I prefer a personal recommendation to using a site or app that hooks you up with a stranger. Despite positive reviews, I wasn’t comfortable taking a chance on an unknown person or company. A couple of days ago, I desperately needed an electrician ASAP. I gambled on Thumbtack to hook me up. All I can say is, “I won the lottery!” Patricio Ojeda responded immediately and showed up that same afternoon. Not only was he prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable, Patricio was able to fix the problem efficiently and, seeing my house hadn’t been brought up to code since it was built in the ‘50’s, he specifically and rightly pointed out how, due to one major storm, my home was vulnerable to a devastating disaster. Will I gamble on using an app to hire someone again? Who knows. What I do know is I’m thrilled to have an excellent and truly reasonably priced electrician on hand, one I can count on from now on.

Even though I no longer needed the electrical work done, I wanted to leave a review. His customer service is amazing, responsive and very patient. He answered all of my questions and made himself available to meet me once I got home from work. If I ever need work done in the future I will definitely contact this pro again.
