With more than three decades of hands-on experience in landscaping, hardscaping, and construction management, I’ve built a career grounded in both technical skill and real-world craftsmanship. My background includes: ✅ 35+ Years in the Green Industry Starting from a young age, I’ve worked in every aspect of the business—from lawn care and garden maintenance to large-scale outdoor living construction. ✅ Leadership & Construction Management As a Construction Manager/Foreman, I have led excavation and infrastructure projects involving heavy equipment operation, site development, drainage, and concrete and stone installations. ✅ Certified & Licensed Contractor in Connecticut Fully licensed and insured to perform landscape construction, outdoor living installations, and site improvement services across the state. ✅ Equipment & Technical Proficiency Extensive training in the safe and efficient operation of loaders, excavators, skid steers, and specialty equipment—ensuring precision workmanship and a clean, safe project site. ✅ Continuous Industry Development I actively stay current with: Modern hardscape installation standards Irrigation & drainage requirements Sustainable landscaping practices New materials and design trends ✅ Business Excellence & Project Coordination Through professional field-service platforms like Jobber, we maintain high standards of communication, scheduling, accountability, and customer service.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in this industry. From a young age, I was helping maintain properties, learning how to care for the land, and developing a passion for building things that last. What started as a small family operation has grown over more than 35 years into a full-service landscape and outdoor living company serving our local Connecticut communities. Over the years, that early hands-on foundation expanded into: Professional training in landscaping and horticulture Technical skills in stonework, hardscapes, and outdoor construction Leadership roles managing crews and heavy equipment on major infrastructure projects While the tools and technology have evolved, one thing has remained the same: I love creating outdoor spaces that families can enjoy and be proud of. Today, I’m proud to work alongside my son as we continue that legacy — combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to deliver the highest quality results for our customers.
