- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is very competitive and we provide a high level of value for your money however price should not be top of the list when choosing a home inspector. You should be choosing a company that is going to do the best job protecting you and your future investment. Too many people simply pick an inspector based on cost. This is a dangerous practice that can cost them thousands in the long run! Buying a house is likely the largest investment of a person's life and should be treated that way in all aspects. Protect yourself and your investment by hiring a company that does a thorough job, employs the latest tools and technology, is fully insured, and most of all cares about their customers! Our inspections include use of state of the art equipment and software. You're getting a lot for your money with us. We offer discounts to police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and military members. All of our inspections include a lifetime subscription to HomeBinder as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process for our customers is smooth, professional, and informative. We want our clients to understand their new home as best as possible. We have invested in technology that makes the home inspection process seemless for both our clients and their agents. We pride ourselves on this! Reach out with any questions you might have! Our inspectors remain as an ongoing resource to our customers. Our relationship doesn't end at your home inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our inspectors are graduates of the Professional Home Inspection Institute, members of CAHI (Connecticut Association of Home Inspectors) and members of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). Each year our inspectors participate in continuing education on all aspects of home inspections! Our inspectors are certified/licensed in various ancillary testings such as radon testing, Wood Destroying Insect inspections, aerial drone licenses, and more! We take knowledge and education seriously at Modern Home Inspections!
