The art of good design is to combine the subtleties of a homeowners personality, lifestyle needs and style with practical considerations of a homes flow and function. When done just right, a room or home truly becomes a sanctuary. The combination of furniture and beautifully designed objects sourced with knowledge and care creates a harmonious atmosphere, which nourishes all who spend time there. I charge a flat rate as per job. I also forward my clients my discounts with all of my sources. Most designers do not do that plus they mark up items 30%. I do not . That’s why I work on a flat fee for transparency.

Lynn helped me complete a project of the entire main floor re-fresh and upper bedroom suite. She had a quick eye for the concept for the space, amazing ideas of what to 'let go,' and helped with every aspect of the project. We removed things that did not work for the space, created a modern, fresh and cohesive, long-lasting look for the area. Lynn helped me with awkward corners, for example a desk corner on the upper landing. She helped with the details to finish the look, sourcing items such as the right pillows, throws, plant ideas, even the best candlesticks. She immediately saw what I intuitively knew what was 'wrong' about a space and also knew on a practical level what to do about it. She helped me with considerations, for example, one sofa is a place where the dogs like to sleep and we got the right finish for that sofa, knowing that I would not have success with a delicate fabric. She re-did a tricky corner in the main bedroom, and also accommodated changes I had already made with a previous decorator. She was considerate of objects I 'loved' and 'had to have' in a space, and she brought the fresh confidence I was looking for, down to the last detail. I am so excited every time I walk into my house and this is not an exaggeration!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the scope of work and will be discussed in detail with each client. Every client receives a contract detailing the job as well as the agreed upon cost. The cost will only change if the scope of work changes.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each new customer receives a complimentary phone consultation where I assess their needs, learn about what their goals are regarding their design project. Then I will ask perspective client to send me photos of the existing space and ant vision boards of what they would ideally like their space to look like.
Then I set a consultation at their home or business to view the space, take measurements and discuss style and budget.
Following the phone consult, I will set up an appointment with you to meet in person.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I developed my discerning eye while studying at the School of Interior Design in NY. I have been designing for over 28 years. I design in all types of styles.
