Handyman
Tom went above and beyond on my installation of bathroom faucets. It was not a simple project but Tom was able to troubleshoot as he went along and was able to deliver at a high quality. He was a pleasant person to talk to and I would definitely use him again on any future projects.

Tom is friendly and professional. My under the kitchen sink cabinet was wet and had to be replaced. He installed new water valves and completed it very satisfactorily. I would hire him again for various jobs around the house.... I hired him again yesterday to replace an old toilet and I am quite happy with what he has done.

Tom was wonderful. He responded to my post quickly. He worked around my schedule to set up the job date. He was punctual. He was fair. He was prepared by bringing materials that may be needed for the job install that I hadn’t thought of. He very obviously takes pride in his work - and it shows. Our project came out better than I even expected. Definitely recommend Tom. He’s a 10 plus!

I met with 3 different handyman to do my kitchen and bathroom renovation on my rental property in Stamford, and selected Tom in the end. The renovation consisted of re-finishing the cabinets with a fresh coat of paint, installing laminate countertops, installing appliances including making a new space for a dishwasher, tiling of the kitchen walls and floor, and painting. Tom's pricing was comparable with other handyman based on the material and labor. In the end, he stayed within budget even though there were changes in the materials and items needed. If anything, it was worth it for the upgrades and changes he has made. Tom was very professional throughout our encounter. As I was located in NY and with the pandemic stay at home order, I could not visit very often. He was able to provide frequent updates and pictures on his progress every few days. Also if there was an issue or material he needed, he communicated very well through email, phone and text message as well. The work product was great and he made some suggestions along the way that was not very expensive but made the space look nicer. If it wasn't for the stay at home order and logistic challenges with vendors, I do think the Tom would have finished close to his proposed timeline but even if it was a bit later, Tom does spend the time to do a quality job in his work. I would recommend and use Tom again for future work.

Handyman
I am very happy that I hired Tom to do some drywall and taping for me. Before hiring Tom, I had trouble finding someone to do the job due to the fact it was small in nature. Tom willingly accepted the work and charged a reasonable fee. He is a all around nice guy who does good quality work and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer both fixed price and hourly repairs. Common fixed price repairs: 1. Kitchen or Bathroom Faucet install 2. Mailbox post install 3. Painting a room Common hourly projects 1. Hanging pictures 2. Adjusting cabinet doors to close properly
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I do like to see photos of the project you'd like me to work on so I may point out potential options, concerns and to be sure that I bring the proper supplies and tools with me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a self taught Handyman. I grew up in a family of laborers, masons and carpenters and learned by working with them. I've become a fan of "reading directions" in my old age to make sure things are done right. And of course there is "you-tube!"
