I actually did not get a chance to see this decorators work first hand. I would like to comment though on her quick response and professionalism on the phone. She was the first decorator that had responded to me and so we had set up a meeting for her to come to my home at my convenience. However I had a change of heart and decided to cancel. She was very polite and professional about my canceling and so I rate her 5 stars!

Bharti pulled everything together for us. We had just moved to CT(early 2023) and had an empty house. She assisted us with paint colors, artwork, and furniture selection. She was instrumental in helping us to select shower tiles, vanities, flooring, countertops, and backsplash(we partially renovated our kitchen and three bathrooms). She also helped us manage the contractors that did the work. Bharti is professional and KIND. She was very responsive and always incredibly patient with us. The best part of working with Bharti is her calm, lovely, and gentle nature. We had a few issues with our contractors and she diffused the situations and brought us to a resolution.
Her pricing is extremely reasonable. All in all, Bharti was a perfect match for us. Don’t hesitate!! Hire her!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My design fee is based on the type of project and the client’s requirements-
1. Flat fee- is project based in which case the design fee is charged on the size of the project when the number of hours are expected to be lot more.
2. Per hour- consultation or when the project doesn’t need too many hours or
for showroom shopping & decorating with all the furniture, furnishings that client either already has it or needs suggestions with and to put everything together for a beautiful & harmonious home!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always meet with a client for in home design consultation during which I will get to see the space to be designed/decorated and have a nice detailed discussion with the customer about their project and they get to know me, my style and my way of working!
I will then give them a very good idea as to what can be done and how it will be done.
Once they hire me I take all the information and prepare a layout with furniture, lighting & furnishings and provide them the samples of items either in the form of photos or if possible the actual samples of fabrics etc., all this is based on the scope of work and customer’s overall budget for the designer and the whole project!
