Edison Road was recommended to me by friends when I started looking to renovate one of my properties. I got in touch with the owner, Erika, and had to say I was very impressed from the initial call. She listened to what I wanted, my timeline, budget and gave feedback. She told me what I could expect in terms of follow up and then actually delivered on it. After discussing with a few more firms I ultimately decided to go with Edison Road as Erika's experience and quality came through on top. She designed to my ultimate vision for the property and I'm extremely happy with the results! I'll definitely be coming back when I renovate another property again in the near future!

I have had the pleasure of working with Erika of Edison Road Interior Design to design and decorate two of my apartments. The first apartment wasn't long-term, so there wasn't as much opportunity to do more than decor work; however, Erika helped pull it together with a neutral color scheme for curtains and furniture, as well as subtle accents that made the place feel homey and cohesive throughout. She understood our style and taste, which is why we also enlisted her help for our second (and longer-term) apartment in New York City.
Knowing that we would be in this apartment for several years, we had more flexibility to do small cosmetic updates as well. Erika worked with the small space very well, helping us break up the rectangular layout to create defined spaces for our living, dining, and office area. Again, she understood our taste and worked with us every bit of the way to make our second apartment feel streamlined, cozy, and totally ours. Erika has been in the industry for over a decade and is always pleasant, friendly, and collaborative throughout the process. She's super creative, and is one of the few designers that isn't afraid to get her hands dirty in the workshop to build things and craft some very unique decorative pieces.
I will definitely use Edison Road Interior Design once we are ready for a bigger space in the suburbs!

I worked with Erika at Edison Road Interior Design for finishing my basement. Erika was extremely responsive to all communications, getting back to me within the hour at all points. Her insights and designs helped me to turn what was once an ugly cold basement into a warm, finished room which my family enjoys spending time in. Erika helped us add a large amount of living space to an otherwise unused area. We've strongly recommended her to our friends and family.

I was looking to do a quick update to my kitchen and needed some guidance as to how to update without spending a fortune. Erika was recommended to me by one of my real estate clients, who worked with her on a staging project. She was very professional and super helpful with pulling together the materials and the use of sketches to help us visualize the finished room.
