FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client is different, but usually we look at the areas needing attention together. We talk about how the area is used and discuss solutions. Then, I set to work, with or without you - your preference. As the work progresses, I will suggest new ideas! The work is organic - but in the end, your space will be tidy, aesthetically pleasing, and functional!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Theatre Set and Costume design at UConn (BFA ‘93) and NYU (MFA ‘97). Designing for theatre is about telling the story while creatively solving the logistical problems. That is what I do.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing this kind of work my whole life. My mother is a graphic designer and gave me a strong New England upbringing. As a professional, I was the Creative Director of Martha Stewart’s video department for nearly 20 years. I also did a lot of organizing and decorating for her, personally and for the business.
