FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the actual property, the size of the lawn, its condition, and what the job genuinely requires, so the number is grounded in real work rather than a guess. Full service lawn care starts at $70 per visit on a recurring weekly schedule, or $95 per visit on biweekly plans. Every visit includes mowing, edging, weed whacking, clearing weeds from sidewalks and driveway cracks and blowing down every surface so the property looks clean and finished, not just cut. Basic Weed control and cleanup are part of the standard, not paid add-ons. Cleanup from the work itself is included. If the debris fits in two contractor-grade bags or less, I haul it away at no charge. Larger hauls and full property cleanouts are quoted separately, so you only ever pay for what your property actually needs. Clients on a recurring weekly schedule also receive 25% off fall cleanups and gutter cleaning, because consistent care should be rewarded, and a property that is maintained year-round is easier to keep at a high standard than one brought back from neglect. The price we agree on is the price. If anything about the property would change it, you hear that from me before any work begins, never after.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is built so that you understand the work, the cost, and the reasoning at every step. It begins with a consultation. I ask detailed questions and request photos of the work so I can understand the property before quoting it. If the job needs an in-person look to be accurate, I come out and walk it with you at no charge, so we go over the work together and confirm we are on the same page from the start. From there, I issue your quote. Some jobs, such as haul-away or added work, require a deposit, and that is laid out clearly before anything is signed. Once the quote is confirmed and the paperwork is complete, we schedule a date and time that works for you. When the work begins, I send you an update the moment we arrive on site. We document the entire job with before, during, and after photos, so the work is recorded and nothing is left to memory. If conditions reveal anything unexpected, I stop and talk it through with you, and nothing additional moves forward without your approval. When the work is finished, I send you an update and we do a final walkthrough together in person. If anything needs adjusting, it gets adjusted. Only once you have seen the results and you are satisfied do I send the invoice through Square. My goal on every property is simple: a clear, well-documented experience, results that hold to a high standard, and a client who knows exactly where things stand from the first message to the final walkthrough.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training came from hands-on experience running real properties at scale. For over two years, working in property management for an established company, I was responsible for the condition of more than 70 properties, a portfolio of short-term rentals alongside a multi-unit apartment complex, overseeing every one from the ground up. That meant handling inspections, leading and assisting the maintenance team through renovations and turnovers, and managing the landscaping directly, hands-on, alongside the crews. It also covered the full operational side: billing and bookkeeping, leasing and documentation, and coordinating repairs and emergencies at any hour. I was the person accountable when something had to be right. Those years are where I learned what good work actually requires: how to catch a problem before it grows, communicate clearly, and hold a result to a standard that lasts. It taught me to see a whole property the way an owner does, not just the lawn, but everything that keeps it looking cared for. It is the foundation everything I do now is built on. I took that experience and founded J-Pinnacle in March 2026 as my own company. Today I run a growing base of weekly lawn care clients, and I personally handle every job, which means the standard I built over those years is the one applied directly to your property.
