FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Based on my research of handyman standard rates across country, rates other local handymen are using, etc - I use a lower hourly flat rate that depending on the project I may further discount upon completion of project if first time customer, project turned out less complex, and/or no unexpected surprises along the way, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will reply quickly to set up what I call a Site Visit to meet/greet a new customer, see your project(s), determine any materials/tools, answer any questions you may have, and then schedule a start date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to college for an BSEE Engineering Degree, followed by a Masters in Business (MBA). I have always facilitated conversations directly with my clients to scope their project(s) properly and fairly price it using and an hourly or fixed price methodology.
