I had been fighting to receive ANY service through LawnStarter for weeks before finally giving up and trying a search on thumbtack. Dane responded to my inquiry quickly, set up a time for us to meet and assess my yard by the next day, and my very overgrown front lawn was completely mowed by the day after. All for a quarter of the price that LawnStarter was trying to talk me into paying. He even removed a bunch of baby trees and weeds for me. We have plans for him to come by and do more landscaping soon and I'm looking forward to it.

Dane arrived and went straight to work mowing the front and back yard. He cleaned up afterwards and everything looked great. Would definitely recommend. Great price also!

When my lawnmower broke down I was scrambling to find someone to come out and finish the job. Dane was able to help out on short notice and did a great job despite some rainy conditions. I would definitely hire him again and would recommend him to others as well.

Took care of everything. I didn't even have to be there. And he charged less than we agreed after he saw the size of the yard (although he probably could have charged more given the state of the yard). Great service!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm very fair. The average mowing price I charge is $38.00. For other services, like fall or spring cleanup I charge about $25.00 per hour, but, sometimes I work by the project rather than per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I go to the property first and meet with the customer to be clear about what they expect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience with my own yards. My interest started when I bought my first house.
I had never mowed a lawn before that. From there I learned and applied my skills to other houses I bought and sold. It made sense that the yard was a selling point.
