- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have both standard packages (starting at $2800) and a la carte options (starting at $400/hr max of 4 hours) for wedding services. Each package comes with a complimentary engagement session, second shooter, high resolution gallery with download of all edited photos, and a print credit of $25. I also offer a Polaroid package for $75 that captures your day via instant film. Family sessions begin at $350 and a solo portrait session, $250.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact, I meet in-person with all of my new wedding clients over coffee (family/head shots/lifestyle sessions are done over the phone). Together, we will walk through your wedding details, look over and sign my wedding contract, secure a deposit, and clients receive my wedding questionnaire, which helps me learn more about you as a couple! Afterwards, I visit your ceremony and reception site and take notes so I know what lighting and additional equipment I may need. I also scout out awesome spots to utilize on your wedding day! Around one month out, I will take your final details, timeline, photo wish list and remaining payment. We are ready to go after that point!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been shooting weddings for over five years and have done over 35 weddings in total. I work with the Nikon camera system and use prime lenses that give a beautiful, fine art feel to my photos. I am trained on lighting equipment, camera lenses and system, and utilize Adobe products for all my editing.
