Introduction: Tom Dest has been teaching music consecutively for 27 years to private individuals and groups. This includes lessons to beginners, intermediate and advanced students on drumset, vibraphone and marimba. Tom also teaches hand drums, music composition, music theory and recording engineering.
Some places Tom where has given lessons are Trinity College, Hartford Academy of the Performing Arts, various public school percussion programs, Dynamic Percussion, Creative Music, and presently, at Varela Music.
The cost for lessons is $22.00 per half hour. Why are lessons with Tom so inexpensive while most other teachers and studios are charging more but have less experience?
With our present economy, most prices for every thing are on the rise. Tom simply does not want to follow suit; thats all.
Thanks,
Tom
P.S. I do not accept any kind of pre-payment via mail or electronic transfer for lessons.
