- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Just to try to be clear, Thumbtack is very precise with their wording. We don't charge $225 just to come out and diagnose your problem for you.. $225 is The labor rate, we don't charge a specific fee for the diagnosis. So a lot of minor problems are diagnosed and repaired for that fee. you'll at least know what's going on and we usually will discuss whatever options you have, if you have them before going further than that $225 though
