Are instructors are educators with years of experience and the desire to teach people of all ages and ability levels. After I fumbled around youtube and elsewhere online,as well as self teaching dvd courses, to no avail....I decided I needed some outside help. This is where Pat comes in. I went to Pat on the recommendation of another teacher. I was entirely nervous about going to a teacher as a beginner and at middle age. Pat takes those nerves away quickly and permanently . You get a completely welcoming, understanding, and patient experience every time you go to a lesson with Pat. I'm frequently being talked "off the ledge" of self imposed pressure and feelings of failure. Which to me seems like it has to be most difficult for a teacher , and Pat does it easily and convincingly. Guitar is a lifelong learning process that's very difficult at every stage (for me especially) ...and a good teacher is key to sticking with it, and to keep you pushing along at a pace you can handle. There never seems to be no question or hurdle Pat can't answer or get you over..Pat does this all amazingly well . He also usually will work around your schedule which is an incredible convenience. The only thing negative I can think of about my lesson experience with Pat is ....(wait for it).....he's a buffalo bills fan! But this is a shortcoming I'm willing to forgive lol..I dont know if I quite stuck to the format usually expected for this type of review, but I figure being more personal was the best way I could convey how great a teacher Pat is.

I always wanted to learn how to play the guitar and my son has been playing for years which made me want to play even more. Then about a year and a half ago my daughter started taking lessons from Pat and the progress she made was unbelievable. That convinced me that I could learn too. I have been taking lessons from Pat for about 10 months and can't believe how much I have learned. Pat is a fantastic guitar teacher and really makes it fun! The key is to follow his instructions because many times it seemed that something can't be learned but his coaching has been on target every time and with practice it all comes together. If you want to learn to play guitar and want someone that will make it easy and fun then Pat is your man!
