We exchanged email and then spoke about the scope of the job (basic gutter cleaning). He worked in spite of light rain, though I would have been ok with postponing to a sunny day. He arrived promptly, did the work completely and neatly, and the fee was quite reasonable.

Harry was absolutely beyond persistent and accommodating to our maintenance requests at a last minute call. We manage our property from another State. Our previous maintenance man of many years let us down and we were scrambling to get someone reliable and trustworthy and that was highly recommended in our townhouse ASAP. He came to our rescue and did a fantastic job and we intend to higher him for any other jobs needed going forward down the line. I would highly recommend him. Harry was on time and professional. He assembled the kids' wooden play kitchen unit for us. The finished product looked very well done. He cleaned up the space after assembly and even offered to vacuum. It was a smooth transaction. We are having him come again to do a few other jobs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nope - not complicated at all. Labor + Materials (+ any funky thing that might be needed for an odd job) = Price of Job
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's not too difficult of a process. Once I send a quote for the requested job, I wait for the customer to get back to me. We could talk through Thumbtack, through texting via phone, or the customer can call me directly. I like to find out a little more in detail about the job needed and then we would schedule a time to meet. Sometimes it's easier if I see the job first and other times I could just show up and start working. My typical hours are Monday through Thursday around 10am to 4:30pm. On occasion I do work later and also on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Those days are special consideration only though. That's it!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not officially. I am an avid fan of the internet.
