I hired Chef Joshua last minute to surprise my boyfriend for his 50th birthday breakfast, and he absolutely delivered! Not only did he make it happen on short notice, but the entire breakfast was phenomenal. He customized the menu to include all of my boyfriend’s favorites and even added a signature cocktail to top it off. Chef Joshua’s warm and engaging personality made the whole experience feel personal, fun, and intimate—exactly what I was hoping for. The food was incredible, and my boyfriend loved it so much that he’s already rehired Chef Joshua to cater an upcoming client event. We had the pleasure of having Chef Jay come to our home and prepare an anniversary dinner for my wife and I. We have a newborn which makes it difficult to get out some times. Chef Jay arrived on time and from the moment he walked in he made the night a memorable one for us. We loved that he interacted with us and our newborn, told us about his techniques for preparing the food and was genuinely excited about the food he was preparing. Working with AfterToday Chef’s was very easy, the menu was excellent and had a lot to choose from, the food quality was excellent, all my wife and I had to do was sit back and enjoy. Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Josh was great He played along with a little surprise that we had for someone and it worked like a charm. From the food to the interaction with Josh I can not be ecstatic about our evening. He explained each course to our guests, it was like eating in a Michelin star restaurant at the kitchen table. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price per person is the real cost of the entire event. I make it easy to budget and there are no added fees or surprises when it comes to working with me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process when dealing with a new customer is to learn everything I can about dietary restrictions, health concerns and allergies that way me and and the customer are on the right page. I've been a Manager of restaurants for 8 years I know how to give great customer service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the Culinary and Wine Institute at Carolina learning how to cook , serve, and teach cooking skills. I'm Serv-Safe trained and have 13 years of cooking experience in the real world.
