FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Sky Heating & Cooling, we believe in fair and transparent pricing — no hidden fees or surprises. • Diagnostic visit: $60 — this covers the trip and a full system inspection to find the problem. • Gas furnace maintenance: $120 — includes cleaning, inspection, and testing for safe and efficient operation. • Oil furnace or boiler maintenance: $200 — includes cleaning, nozzle replacement, filter change, and full tune-up (these systems require more parts and labor). All larger repairs or installations are quoted after inspection, so you always know the total cost before any work begins. We also offer seasonal discounts on maintenance and tune-ups to help our customers save year-round.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with Sky Heating & Cooling is simple, reliable, and professional: 1. Initial Contact: You reach out by call, text or through our Thumbtack page. We discuss your heating or cooling issue or maintenance request. 2. On-Site Visit: A licensed technician arrives on time, inspects your system, and explains everything clearly. 3. Estimate & Approval: You’ll receive a detailed, upfront estimate — no hidden fees or pressure. 4. Service Completion: Once approved, we perform the work efficiently and test the system to ensure everything runs perfectly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for about a year and a half to study HVAC and learn the ins and outs of heating and cooling systems. After that, I completed my apprenticeship program and continued gaining hands-on experience in the field. Over the years, I’ve worked on both residential and light commercial systems, handling everything from maintenance to full installations. After building a strong background and real-world skills, I decided to start Sky Heating & Cooling LLC to provide customers with reliable, professional service done right the first time.
