Susan Levy and her team covered everything I asked for and more! Rave reviews from my guests about all of the dishes that were prepared. Service was right on! Bar service was excellent! My event was an outdoor venue and I was anxious about how it would all flow. Susan's presentation and responsiveness to any request were right on point. Everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing! So professional! They did my wedding reception for 130 people and every single person there came to me to tell me it was the best food they have ever had! I still have people calling me for her information - honestly, everything was perfect!!! I would never even consider another caterer after this experience - she is a one and only in my book! Susan Levy catered our boat club Christmas Party at the Pattaconk Yacht Club and it was beyond amazing!! I would have given more stars but 5 was the max. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I talk to them and see what they are looking for . I customize every menu to my customers needs. We decided on a menu and price . Then I set up a tasting to make sure I can provide for them what they want. Then when that goes well , we sign a contract.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a culinary institute of America graduate, and I was a chef in the United States Coast Guard for 27 yrs .
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I volunteered my services to work at the Mark Twain house . I support a non for profit animal rescue group called Kenways Cause . They help all dogs and cats in the Hartford area. It is a great cause because they help so many animals a year and I love animals.
