About
Hi! I am Kari Bjorn and I capture weddings, portraits, and families. Please see my website for the fastest and most accurate quotes with my booking form.
I studied photography in New York City at Parsons School of Design and have been shooting weddings, portraits, editorials, and doing commercial work since 2012. I have won a few awards, American Photography 35 & 37 in 2019 and 2021 and Hasselblad Masters finalist in 2018. My work has been exhibited and published on both sides of the Atlantic, at The Aperture Foundation in NYC, the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg in Russia, and Fotografiska in Stockholm, Sweden for example. American Photography, NPR, and Dazed have also published my pictures and long-form documentary projects.

Kari recently took our engagement photos and they turned out absolutely beautiful. Great attention to detail and also a respect for delivering on our vision and capturing the dynamic of mine and fiancée’s relationship. Our session didn’t feel forced and was very friendly. Our photos were delivered quickly as well.

My future husband and I had a great time with Mr. Bjorn during our engagement shoot and the pictures came out beautiful😍. Upon meeting Mr. Born he was professional, made an effort to get to know us and gave us advice on how to prepare for the photoshoot. During the shoot there were awkward moments but he made sure to make us laugh in order to feel more comfortable. Overall, it was a delightful time.
