Francine is renovating the kitchen and two bathrooms in my NYC apartment and has been wonderful from the start. I am totally clueless and she is always there from following up with ny contractor to helping me pick out the best designs since I am overwhelmed. I will post photos when all is done. I would use her again and again and recommend her to anyone thinking about doing a renovation. She makes a difficult job easy because of her years of experience and knowledge and elegant aesthetic eye!

Francine has designed and supervised four large projects for me over the past 15 years. She designed a beautiful kitchen and fabulous bathrooms for my home in Connecticut; floor plans for a vacation home in the Caribbean; renovations on our New York apartment and is now working on plans for our home in Newport. We knew we needed to renovate our Master Bath but had no idea where to start. Francine came by and within a week she had ideas for changing the layout to fit our needs. She was collaborative with her design and helped us pick out finishes and begin our search for contractors. She was also very budget conscious and we didn't feel any kind of up-selling took place -- she focused on what we needed and wanted. All-in-all she was extremely professional and warm, helping us complete a daunting project when we had almost no experience. Highly recommended!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a complimentary initial consultation. Our hourly rate is $175, which covers a range of design services, including:
- Floor Plans
- Furniture Space Planning
- Kitchen Design Plans and Elevations
- 3D Renderings of the Space
- Lighting Plans
- Color Schemes (Paint)
- Material Schemes and Presentations (fabrics, furnishings, wallpaper, lighting fixtures, and home accessories)
If you choose to have us manage the project, including purchasing furnishings, materials, lighting fixtures, deliveries, and installations, the project management fee is 30%.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually provide our clients with a questionnaire to complete. This helps ensure that both the designer and the client are aligned as the project progresses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BSA degree in Interior Design and bring over 30 years of experience in residential projects. Hiring an experienced and knowledgeable designer is crucial for your home to prevent any mistakes or mishaps.
