Introduction: As yoga therapist who spent 2012-2013 with Dr. Bob Butera of the Yoga Life Institute delving into the practice of yoga for stress reduction and lifestyle management, I feel it is important for people to be able to apply the teachings of yoga to their daily life where they most need it. How can we make yoga more practical and applicable to our busy lives? I want to help people discover that answer for themselves.
Practicing all the useful yogic techniques like breathing to turn off the flight or fight mechanism. To me some of the most simple things are the most profound. The best is connecting with others and sharing the teachings of yoga which come through when we get ego out of the way.
