First, I love to make art and appreciate every one of my clients who give me the opportunity to support myself doing so! I work at a high level of skill and never take shortcuts with my projects. I'm reliable and aim to make the experience working with me as stress-free as possible for my clients!
Though the bulk of my work is typically long-term projects, I am often available for last minute commissions with a quick turn-around. If you have a book or long term project, please try to contact me a few months before your desired start date. I try to accommodate everyone, but sometimes I will need to wrap up another project before jumping into another big one. I'm always upfront about my availability and realistic expectations for project timelines.
I primarily work in pen & ink, watercolor, and digital mediums. I am able to work in many different art styles- anything from traditional realism to digital cartoons.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

I worked with Allie to illustrate my first children's book, My Old Friend, Then. It was a wonderful experience! I could go on and on and on about how pleased I am to have worked with Allie! After seeing some of her work on Instagram, I took a leap and invited her to illustrate my book (How to Hold a Cockroach -- find it on Amazon!), a long-term project that was near and dear to my heart. She was so fun to collaborate with, sharing ideas and excitedly implementing feedback. She was also completely dedicated to iterating until we both felt that each illustration was just right. I had high hopes for the project and our collaboration far surpassed those expectations -- I am so delighted by the result! She is responsive, professional, and never missed a meeting or deadline. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing will vary by project based on your needs. Discounts are available for those with multiple projects who want to reserve my time in advance or a monthly retainer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much information as possible from the customer before I start a project. Once the process begins, I keep the customer updated with sketches & progress. I like to keep open communication with my clients to make sure their expectations for the project are being met, and do what I can to make the process as easy as possible for the client while we're working together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BFA in Studio Art with a Concentration in Illustration and Animation & over 8 years of working experience as a freelance illustrator and designer.
I have also worked as an in-house graphic designer for a few companies.
