FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Actually, I have three very simple pricing structures. In one structure, generally, it is 1/3 up front, 1/3 at the completion of the financial model and 1/3 at the completion of the final deliverable. Int he second structure we require 1/2 upfront, after that the remainder will be paid in equal monthly installments over three to five months. In the third structure we required a retainer upfront that is less than 1/2 of the total fee, then the remainder will be paid in equal monthly installments over a six month to twenty-four month period. This third structure will require minimum payments of an amount that depends upon the amount of the total fee and may be subject to other terms.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am excited to work with new clients. Here is my typical process. First, I request an email address and phone number so that I can speak directly to you and provide a more detail proposal to address your specific needs. After speaking with you, I send you a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), to be digitally signed, to protect your business idea. Upon receipt of the digitally signed NDA, I will contact you or schedule Upon accepting the proposal; you will receive a consulting agreement for you to sign digitally. Upon signing the agreement, you should hire me on thumbtack, and I will contact you to set up a follow-up meeting to obtain the information I need to perform the business service your request. That meeting should take 60 - 90 minutes to complete. Upon the completion of the meeting, I will get started performing your services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I perform a significant amount of continuing education to remain current with the latest developments in business, management, strategic planning, business analysis, and technology. In my advanced degree program at the University of Pennsylvania, I completed advanced management education in finance and accounting, marketing, business and technology strategy development, and quantitative business analysis. In these courses, business plan creation was an integral and critical part of the curriculum and many of my graduate business courses and technology management courses emphasized business plan creation and development. I also have either taken courses for or have had the following areas included in my graduate or continuing education coursework: social media, marketing, supply chain management, business strategy, business analysis, probabilistic risk analysis, etc. The business environment and the market change very quickly and without a predictive view, with the institution of new technologies and trends, I feel that it is imperative to understand and always have my pulse on what is new and up and coming. This both helps me in my business and this knowledge allows me to help my clients grow and succeed.
