FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard hourly rate is $250, which includes everything from document review, drafting, and analysis to strategy and consultation calls. For first-time clients, I offer a one-time 10% discount that applies to our initial project together. For smaller projects like contract reviews or policy updates, I may be able to offer a flat-fee option. And if you're looking for continued support, I'm happy to discuss a retainer arrangement that fits your needs and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we’ll have a preliminary call to understand your goals. Next, I’ll review any documents or background info you provide. Then, I’ll send a pricing and time estimate. Once accepted, I’ll follow up with an engagement letter and invoice for a deposit. From there, I get to work—whether that means reviewing, drafting, negotiating, or helping you build a policy or workflow that fits your business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a seasoned attorney with a strong background in commercial contracts, business law, data privacy, and compliance. I have in-house experience at a fintech startup and a software company, and I support a mix of small businesses scaling up and individuals just starting out. My focus is always on making legal terms practical and easy to apply to real business decisions.
