- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We normally will schedule a meeting (either in-person or on the phone/skype) whenever is most convenient for the client to discuss their ideas, do's/don'ts for their event- I do a lot of listening. Afterwards, if the client chooses to work with me, I will propose a plan and timeline within your budget and create a service agreement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Udemy certifications in event planning. Experience planning weddings, showers, and parties.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved helping my mom arrange the house whenever she would host an elaborate dinner party. I loved creating new set-ups to display the food and desserts. Then, I planned my own wedding (250+ guests!) and loved the large scale aspect of planning. Now that I have been a bride myself, I really know, first hand, all of the little worries brides are thinking about in the days leading up to the wedding. So don't worry, I have been there, done that, and am already two steps ahead of you!
