FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
LEYLA uses a flat-fee structure — no hourly surprises, no hidden costs. Pricing is based on the number of rooms and scope of work, ranging from a single-room paint color consultation to full-service sourcing and project management for an entire home. Every project is scoped individually so you only pay for what you actually need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project starts with a free consultation — in person or virtual — where we talk through your space, your goals, your lifestyle, and your budget. No pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation. From there I put together a project proposal with a clear scope, flat fee, and timeline. Once we're aligned, we move into the design phase: concept development, color selection, mood boards, and sourcing. I keep clients updated throughout with a shared project timeline and regular check-ins via email, text or WhatsApp.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a self-taught interior decorator — and I consider that one of my greatest strengths. My background is in painting, sewing, and color theory, all developed through years of hands-on practice rather than a classroom. I've spent years immersed in design: studying spaces, sourcing materials, pulling fabrics, and learning what actually works in real homes for real people. I launched LEYLA after years of helping family and friends transform their living spaces. Every project — formal or informal — has sharpened my eye for proportion, color, and the details that make a room feel finished rather than just furnished.
