- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is not complicated. We buy at wholesale and sell at fair market value. Nothing hidden and no additional fees beyond the project contract signed by the client - it will include product, labor, delivery and installation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally, after contacting the prospect by phone, an initial complimentary appointment is scheduled. This is a time to get to meet the new customer, find out what the needs are, establish a budget and timeline and agree to move forward. After that first appointment, I get to work putting together a presentation, which may include a PowerPoint, samples and swatches to fully describe what I believe they want. At the second appointment, we decide what exactly will be done, sign a contract and upon payment of the deposit, the items are ordered. Once everything is received, I make another appointment to install everything. This is a very brief overview and there may be multiple appointments depending on the complexity of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are continuously provided education. I attend my regional meeting once per month that regularly has at least 2 suppliers presenting the latest and greatest. Our intranet is full of recorded webinars on a variety of subjects that help me stay informed.
