About

I have been working in the Aquatic field for over 40 years. I have been certified through Red Cross, YMCA, United States Water Fitness Association, Arthritis Foundations, National Pool&Spa Association, as an Instructor Trainer, Personal Trainer, Adapted Aquatics Program Coordinator, LifeGuard Instructor. I have worked with organizations, businesses, cities, states and individuals establishing Aquatic Programs covering all facets from pre/post natal fitness through post rehab/therapy and special needs. I teach swimming for ages 6 months through senior adult. I love the clients and students reactions when they find out that they no longer have limitations, fears, concerns and experience the freedom of movement when in the water.

Excellent therapist and if ever need water therapy again (which I hope not, lol) she will be the first person I would call for getting back into good health. Thanks again and I'm still using all that you taught me in my pool, that's until it get's to cold to enter.

Ms. Karen was great to work with and my children enjoyed her. She is able to communicate with them on their level and in a fun way. My daughter now wants to swim on a swim team and my son is not fearful of the water. They are on their way to being top swimmers.

Mrs. Karen was awesome! Our 4 year old twins are swimming after just a few lessons. The kids liked her. She is fun and keeps them engaged. We will definitely be calling her again for refresh lessons in the spring.

My prices/fees are negotiable based upon what is needed and what is discussed with client/student at initial meeting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to meet with the student/client so we can determine goals and expectations, evaluate abilities, develop a plan of action, coordinate our schedules for classes/sessions, negotiate a price that will fit your budget and establish communication and contact information for your convenience.

Certified Life Guard Instructor for 40+ years. Certified Swim Instructor for 40+ years. Trained Swim Instructors for 30+ years. Certified Arthritis Association Aquatic Program Instructor. Certified Aquatic Personal Trainer. Certified as Aquatic Programming for Mature Individuals. Have established Aquatic Programs for United Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Heart Association, Easter Seals, Stroke Recovery/Rehab, Down Syndrome Association, Autism Speaks.
