Thomas and his crew worked installed crown molding and chair rail both in the entry hallway and around the kitchen. These areas of my home went from plain and ordinary to sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing. The other project that Thomas and his crew worked on was installing wood beams in our great room. While the height of the cathedral ceilings add beauty to a home, they can be dull and boring when the ceiling is just painted. When he installed the wood beams I was truly satisfied with the remarkable difference it made to our great room. It added the pizzazz and oomph it was missing. Here is what I loved about working with Thomas (Distinction, LLC) and his great crew: 1) He was punctual, responsive and personable. 2) He submitted his estimate in a timely fashion and his prices were affordable. He delivered what he promised. 3) He was open to suggestions. 4) The quality of his work is great. He pays attention to the details and uses natural materials. 5) Supervised his crew. 6) His crew is hard-working and trustworthy.

These guys are real pros. They've done an excellent job remodeling my bathroom, hall and living room. Have hired them now to gut my bedroom and rebuild and same for my kitchen. We did a barnwood feature wall and their cuts were precise. It came out beautiful. Tile job in bath was excellent. Plus, they are just really nice guys. They show up when they are supposed to be there; they clean up after themselves. (We are living there through the remodel.). I am very happy with their work.

We have a home with a wraparound deck on second floor. The issue at hand was the deck separated and dropped off from where it was attached to the back of house due to snow. From first contact the owner was very informative, professional and personable. He provided estimate and when we decided to have him return, he went above an beyond. He has truly been a pleasure while working through those difficult moments with insurance co and and a previous contractor. Whenever he said he's do something and or take care of something he deliverd a higher level then expected.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we like to get to know what exactly the customer is looking for , cost effective or something to impress the guests , perhaps something in between . I don't like to waist people's time and the best way to grow as a company is by word of mouth . we will explain the process of the project in detail and describe everything in writing in a easy to understand contract . we typicly ask for half down payment and the remainder at completion .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a turn key company , meaning we have guys in all areas of the construction field . We will send the guys that have experience . we hand pick our employees and run a full background check and drug screenings randomly to insure the customers always get what they paid for . Every employee must have at least 5 years experience remodling homes .
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I work really hard while all of my co-workers did not . I was tiered of making the company grow and watching others take credit for my efforts. I started with siding homes , then framing . I worked with a friend doing residential concrete jobs for a few years and then drywall. Everything I tried , I found a way to do it better . I am very competitive and proud of my work . I started my company with my wife by my side and luckly found some great guys that also have my pasion for quality work .... It is not easy to find guys who actually take pride in there work .
