What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Online Pricing specials: $15 discount. This special must be done online or by email or fax. (Additional forms and schedules extra) In office consultation: $99 for a 1040 1 state (additional forms and schedule extra) I have a secure online mailbox for transmission of documents. I have a menu of prices for each IRS and state tax form.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I review the previous year's tax return, review the documents, and ask questions. My goal is to find a way to reduce your taxes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Business Degree from Liberty University with studies in Accounting and taxation. I also have a paralegal certificate from Blackstone School of Law. Each year I take additional continuing education classes in taxation. I'm also a certified ProAdvisor with Quickbooks Online.
