Holly was personable on the phone, but lethargic in the cleaning process that was poorly done. Her niece needed persistent guidance, lacking in how to properly make a bed. Her boyfriend seem to have the only grasp on how to clean but could not compensate for the other two for a thorough, proper cleaning.

I would like to say that we appreciate all reviews whether positive or negative. I would also like to apologize that you feel like you had a bad experience with our service.
Now I would like to respond. When I received your request, I quoted (and quoted low because we were new to Thumbtack and wanted to get acknowledged in their process) based on what you entered and you did not ask for a deep clean, nor did you state that on the phone. You did say that you were perfectionists and wanted your house to reflect that. So I guess where I made one mistake was assuming that your house must not be that dirty to begin with since you're "perfectionists".
Anyway, based on your request and comment, I estimated 3.5 to 4 hours for Ben (my fiance) alone to clean your house (again, you never stated deep clean and you never said how many more square feet than 3000.. you never said it was 4200 square feet until that day when we came to clean) and quoted you $75 each biweekly clean. I did not charge for your pets or any of the extra stuff you requested when we got there. We went above & beyond what you originally requested, picked up animal feces from the balcony that we cleaned, cleaned a porch that you hadn't even requested be cleaned, wiped out the oven that you also did not request to be cleaned, etc. You stated that "if you have time today" we could clean the 3rd floor, which apparently is completely devoted to the pets, and we did it anyway even though it was not an immediate expectation. I moved everything and dusted the furniture, also dusting every piece that I moved, dusted the tops of doorways, pictures, etc.; wiped everything down including electric sockets and light fixtures, polished your stainless steel refrigerator until there were no smudges, fingerprints, or anything, etc.
You also stated that you had been through several other cleaning services that you expressed dissatisfaction with however, having done all that I've listed and more, I am confident enough to say that you received from us superior work and only paid $100 for everything, which leads me to my next point:
You stated, before we started, that you were planning on giving us more than we quoted because you realized that the quote was too low. When we were finished, I came to you and Bev and asked you to do a walk through before we left to make sure that we didn't miss anything, then Bev asked how much you owed us and I said that I had quoted $75 so I had to honor that and you handed $100 to Bev and she handed it to me. So I guess my question is, why would you give us an extra $25 still (which still didn't cover everything we did) if you were so displeased; you never said anything after you inspected our work, nor did you express any kind of dissatisfaction.
The last thing that I would like to address is my niece's performance. As I stated on the phone when we spoke, this is a family owned and operated business despite disabilities. Lysa has Autism and Asperger's and may need to be guided but she does know how to clean; sometimes we may have to get her to redo something or assist her in a task (which I realize may take longer but again, you weren't charged for her and me) but it gets done and done right before we leave. The sheet that was left off when Lysa made your bed the first time, was draped over the balcony railing; would you have thought that it was clean and supposed to go on the bed? When you addressed the issue, Lysa explained what she thought, apologized, remade the bed the right way, and then apologized at least 3 more times (that I heard) throughout the day.
Again, I apologize that you feel you had a bad experience however, you got at least $200 worth of cleaning (and that's with our low prices) for only $100. I hope that you find someone that satisfies your standards but if you want the kind of cleaning you expect (and I believe you received), you might want to increase your budget because you expect too much for too little and I honestly don't know that you'll ever be satisfied.
