FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
FAB starts pricing with a fee that increases as the customer's appraisal needs increase. For example, a "Date of Death" appraisal fee is $100 more due to the increased level of research needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
FAB sends out a licensed appraiser to do the inspection of the property. The client may not be present as long as entrance to the property is provided. The inspector takes photos of BOTH the exterior and interior of the property. It generally only takes around 30 minutes. Payment is due at the time of the inspection. Most appraisals can be returned in 5 - 7 business days. Your report will contain 20 or more pages.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Appraisers require a license. FAB Appraisals has a CERTIFIED GENERAL APPRAISER LICENSE which allows for appraisals of commercial properties and those valued over $2 million.
