- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played college football and was trained for years on how to move people. I am having fun, but in truth, relocating families is more than just lifting heavy stuff. There is a lot of care and thought that goes into a successful move. And when I went to work during Covid for a local company, I was trained by the owner, my dear friend and brother Joseph. And he has over 35 years in this industry. Working for Atlas Van Lines, United Van Lines, and Mayflower Transit, he drove tractor trailer and is certified and trained in every area of moving there is. And he trained me one-on-one, on the job training for many months. I was lucky to learn so much. Additionally, I was in hospitality for 15 years and true customer service to me is what you do AFTER you do what is expected of you. And that’s part of our mission statement!
