About
Hilltop Studio is owned and operated by Jim and Carol Hill, and was started in 1986. Jim is a member of Professional Photographers of America, and Delaware Professional Photographers. He holds the Certified Professional Photographer degree (one of only 5 in Delaware), Fellow of Photography degree, and the Associate Fellow of Photography degree. We use high end equipment including radio controlled lighting for your portraits or events. We have lots of experience, and have photographed around 700 weddings in 33 years in business.

Jim and Sherry were absolutely WONDERFUL! They made sure to capture the true essence of our large, extended family and even managed to get BEAUTIFUL pictures of my 4 year old (which is NOT an easy feat!) The value is unmatched and I had my photos complete and edited in less than 15 hours!!!

Just got engaged this past week & wanted to hire a photographer to make sure the moment was documented. The plan came about quick so I didn’t give Hilltop much of a notice.
Despite that, they showed up 45 minutes ahead of time & were setup with 2 different photographers to capture the beach proposal. After getting the candids, they also composed a quick shoot for us.
All around great work & extremely easy to work with!

Great experience with Jim. We came to Rehoboth Beach for a family vacation, three generations, and he was able to do a beautiful photo shoot in the evening on the beach. All the photos came out beautifully, even with three children who were kind of like herding cats at times, he was able to find some really great pictures where all three of them are looking at the camera and smiling. Thanks Jim so much. We will definitely recommend you to our friends.
