About
Hilltop Studio is owned and operated by Jim and Carol Hill, and was started in 1986. Jim is a member of Professional Photographers of America, and Delaware Professional Photographers. He holds the Certified Professional Photographer degree (one of only 5 in Delaware), Fellow of Photography degree, and the Associate Fellow of Photography degree. We use high end equipment including radio controlled lighting for your portraits or events. We have lots of experience, and have photographed around 700 weddings in 33 years in business.

Words can not describe how lucky we were to find HillTop Studio! Me and my husband had a casual park vibe, with just "in the moment" feelings, type of photoshoot to announce our 5 year anniversary and vow renewal ceremony coming soon! And although we didnt have anything fancy goin on like a wedding or big event, Jim still made our small project feel valid and important!
Pricing was very reasonable and is well worth the investment. We will be booking beach photos soon and maybe some pet photography. Thank you so much again Jim!

Jim and Sherry were absolutely WONDERFUL! They made sure to capture the true essence of our large, extended family and even managed to get BEAUTIFUL pictures of my 4 year old (which is NOT an easy feat!) The value is unmatched and I had my photos complete and edited in less than 15 hours!!!
