Well, I try not to be just another nerd behind a computer screen. I really try to feel like I know my client so I know what he or she wants out of this experience. I have heard so many bad things about hiring freelancers, such as late work, never on time, no communication, etc. Not only are my websites always completed on time, but I try to create a friendship with my clients.
I do boast that my pricing system is different than other designers. How many times have you seen a cost per hour? I don't work that way. How do you know how many hours I work on your website? I have finished websites in 48 hours before, but how do you know that? Instead, I price by the service and/or page. My complete list is on my website, but I will give special discounts if hired through Thumbtack.
Another difference is that my website has a log in page. Once you hire me for your services, you receive a unique username that you can use to log into your account on my website. This will show you the progress I have made on your project and any special notes I have to share with you. You will receive an email notice any time something is posted to your account. It will also keep track of what portion of your total bill has been paid, and a form where you can ask me questions directly from my website. I will also keep in touch through email. This way, there is never a lack of communication. It's your money and your business, and I do not want to make it look bad!
I love creating. That is why I became a Web Designer. In fact, I'm currently studying software engineering to create my own software. The feeling you get when you see your work posted somewhere like the Internet is overwhelming. That is what I like most, for sure! I think many clients can understand that no one knows how much passion and work you put into your design, but when a client sees what an amazing job you did and you see the excitement on their face... Ah! That's what I'm here for!
