Trish

I'm an experienced, certified paraprofessional/ private tutor with over 9 years experience. I was previously employed at a school for children with emotional and behavioral challenges, but have also worked with mainstream populations. I've recently held a position as a Learning Coach for 2nd and 4th grade, where the students were able to substantially improve their standardized testing scores while earning honor roll recognition. Currently, I'm homeschooling 3rd and 5th grades. I am a patient, reliable, caring person with flexible hours. I look forward to hearing from you. Recommendations: Lindsey T. What a blessing our beloved "Miss Trish," as our girls called her, has been to our family this year. We had made the decision to enroll our girls (4th & 2nd Grade) in the virtual school program for the 2020-2021 academic year. With parents working full-time from home, we realized that an instrumental part of making this plan work involved hiring a Learning Coach to keep the girls on task with their assignments, and to help guide them through their learning. Trish came to us in the middle of the school year after our initial Learning Coach had a family emergency requiring her to leave, and completed the 3rd and 4th Quarters. The girls love her. She is patient, kind, reliable, organized, and clearly has a love for being around children. Whenever we need childcare, she will be the first name on our list, and we would highly recommend her to anyone. As a result of her effort, both girls got Principal's Honor Roll, and we couldn't be more proud of them! Thank you, Trish! Mon May 31 2021 Jennifer M. Trish was an absolutely amazing learning coach for both my girls ages 10 and 8 during this past year of virtual home schooling. I have seen such huge improvements in the both of them. In this capacity I had the privilege of watching Trish and her interactions with students and staff. In both areas Trish was helpful, engaging, and able to anticipate a need. Trish worked as an aide in the school. However, there wasn't a job she did not offer to help with, be it yearbook, field trips, bulletin boards, coverage, or one to one tutoring.
