Introduction: There are many photography styles and methods - some are easier to understand than others. It is important that you understand the style that the photographer delivers consistently to others. My style is characterized by colors, bright and good lighting, shiny materials - my model's skin is soft with great color - bright eyes - good hair separation and defination - images are shot under lights whenever possible to give catchlights in the eyes. The jewlery is sharp and emphasized - bling is good and not to be ignored, the clothing is draped nicely - I pay attention to the entire presentation. Check out my website for examples and compare the images there to images made by others. Make your decision based on actual samples. Demand that you get what you need and want.

First - check our the website or portfolio the provider offers - make sure you like their style. Second - talk to the photographer who you will be working with - can they communicate, do they listen, can you feel comfortable with them Third - confirm their industry participation in organizations and groups - what are they currently studying, do they present their knowledge to others. Last - trust our instincts - if it doesn't feel right go to someone else - the cheapest person may not be able to provide the image you want and need.
