I am an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since 2007. After 9 years in big law firms, I decided to go out on my own so that I could help people during some of the most trying times of their lives. I am skilled in family law and many areas of civil litigation. I enjoy what I do and work zealously for the rights and needs of my clients. I am honest and straightforward and make sure all my clients are explained each step in the process of their individual cases. Barrie took my case late 2023. I hired her with a flat rate. Paid her off within I believe a month or two and case was closed August of 2024. At first she was responsive to every call and most emails. A few months later, it was extremely hard to get any response from her. She was either sick or just non responsive. Her expertise was very minimal when compared to other attorneys that either have represented me or provided their knowledge when pertaining to my case. And there was no fight or care to get a great outcome when the case was coming to an end. She just wanted it off her hands. What was most appalling to me was when she told me I owed her extra for the case because of the “time she spent on it”. Let me tell you I have emails to prove Barrie went weeks and even over a month at one point with no response after several attempts to reach her. So when she decided to tag on an extra fee “for time spent” I was surprised when our contract clearly outlined a flat rate. I emailed her back asking for explanation about the cost and she then responded with a docusign to withdraw from my case. Case was closed anyway but I still never got that response. So my guess is that it was a last chance effort to grab some extra funds. Read through your contract if you hire her, be smart. However, I recommended you do not. Everything speaks for itself. Even her past reviews I ignored deciding to take a chance. I’m sorry but not sorry. I respect Barrie but it was very frustrating dealing with her.

I can’t say enough of how much she has helped me in my time of need .
